Phenotyping is foundational to plant breeding, and is also one of the most costly and labor intensive activities caried out by breeding institutions and industry. The search for new technology solutions must be balanced so that high value traits are targeted with economically viable solutions. Not all technologies will be worth investigating as costs or applicability to field conditions must be considered.
This webinar will discuss the various keys to success that the Corteva team has discovered to deliver numerous phenotyping solutions at industry scale. Real-life examples of both successes and failures will illustrate what has become the pattern within the organization to drive new precision phenotyping technologies from idea to global deployment.
