EIB-IRRI Rice Breeding Operations Workshop

Location: IRRI campus, Philippines

Operational leaders from rice breeding programs  will discuss progress and strategies on improving breeding operations. This is part of EiB’s Breeding Operations Network for Development’s (BOND) ongoing support for breeding operations teams, along with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and the CGIAR Breeding Resources Initiative.

Workshop objectives: The main objective of this workshop is to align EIB and Breeding Resource  Initiatives with the operational capacity of the participants’ research stations. This workshop will be opportunity to share best practice and enhance networks among rice breeding operational teams.

Participants: Participants have been selected via EiB partnerships and include rice breeding operational leaders at the CGIAR/NARES breeding network research stations in Asia, Africa and America. Selection is now closed.
